Solid Waste Service

Richland county charges non exempt real property taxpayers for weekly solid waste and yard trash in addition to biweekly recycling service. Riverview Terrace normally receives garbage service Mondays; yard trash service Thursdays; and recycling on alternate Fridays.. Exceptions can occur during Richland county’s six annual holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. On those weeks service following a holiday will be offered one day later than usual.
